He is the head o the SIT. This will lead to the case. He is A IPS officer of the 1994 batch of Gujarat cadre. He was appointed Joint Director of CBI in January 2020. This can be approved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
His career :
Additional DG in the State Intelligence Bureau (IB) in Gujarat, Police Commissioner in Ahmedabad, Served as SP in five districts of Gujarat.

2.IPS Gagandeep Gambhir:

She is an IPS officer of 2004 batch Bihar. Gagandeep has the topper of Punjab University.
Gagandeep’s Career :
She served as SSP in many districts. He was appointed as CBI officer in one and a half years. Gagandeep has also a part of the investigation team. Also supervised the investigation into the alleged role of former utter Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in the illegal mining case, Sreejan scam and journalist Upendra Rai case, an additional charge of DGI in the Special Investigation Team led by Joint Director Sai Manohar. Handel case of Vijay Mally and Agusta Westland.

3.IPS Anil Yadav :

He is CBI Additional SP. He has been appointed as Investigation Officer in the Sushant case.
Anil Yadav Career :
He also handled the case of Madhya Pradesh’s Vyapam scam and the death of MBBS student Namrata Damore. Investigated the Namrata Dmor case, investigated Commonwealth Games scam. He was also honored with a gold medal.

4.IPS Nupur Prasad :

She is from Salepmpur village in Tikari. She is an IPS officer in the batch of 2007.
Nupur Prasad Career :
Nupur was appointed to the CBI in 2019. She has been the DSP of Shashdra of Delhi. Now in CBI working as SP. She got the responsibility in the SIT team in the Sushant case.
