The country’s first sea-plane service started from 31st October

The country’s first sea-plane service was launched at Kevadia in Narmada district.  On the date of 31st October 2020. Along with land, sea-plane also lands on water, this is its feature.  It doesn’t need a runway to land or take off.


First tarip by PM Modi

Preime Minister Modi himself traveled by sea-plane.  Accompanied by the Prime Minister, the sea-plane traveled from Kevadia to Ahmedabad on the banks of the Sabarmati River.

Regular Service

This service has been started regularly from Kevadia in Narmada district to Sabarmati ‘River Front’ in Ahmedabad.  The passenger fare has been kept at Rs 1,500.  The 200 km journey by sea plane will be completed in just 40 minutes.  It takes 4 hours to cover this distance by road.
