Shekhar Kapoor selected as a president Of the National Film and Television Institute

Senior film director Shekhar Kapoor has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of Governors. The Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced Kapoor’s selection on the date of the 29th of September 2020.

Senior director-producer b. P. Singh has been the president of the organization since 2018. Shekhar Kapoor will now take his place. The ministry has made it clear that Kapoor’s tenure will be till March 3, 2023.
