The Indian Navy’s Airawat warship arrived in the Sudanese port yesterday under ‘Mission 2’. The Government of India has launched this campaign to help allies in the event of a corona infection.
According to this, about one hundred tons of food grains have been sent to Sudan from the ship Airawat.
Mission Sea 1
In the first phase of Mission Sea in May, India supplied food and medicine to Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar and Comoros.
Mission Sea 2
The second phase, currently underway, will supply food to Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti and Eritrea via INS Airawat. India attaches great importance to strengthening its relations with friendly countries.
