
The central government of India started a new education policy. This can be approved by Union Cabinet on the date of 29 July 2020. The needs of this century and the aspiration of the future generations. This developed policy applicable from kindergarten and Anganwadi to higher and higher education. This new 5 + 3 + 4 policy instead of the current 10 + 2 diagram of school education
Importing education up to class V in mother tongue or regional language, imparting vocational education at school level only. Establishment of a new National Assessment Institute, ‘Parakh’. Under the new policy, 100 universities from around the world will be admitted to India and exchanged with them.
The decision of NEP school students taken exams only for 3rd, 5th and, 8th std. Assessment in other years will be a “regular and formative” style that will be more “Competency-based.
The board exams will be continued to held for classes 10th and 12th. But these will be designed with “holistic development”. Ministries of HRD, Women and Child Development (WCD), Health and Family Welfare (HFW), and also tribal affairs will jointly accomplish the ECCE’s implementation.
