Hindustan Aeronautics: 6 helicopters handed over to Navy

Six state-of-the-art MK-3 light helicopters built by Hindustan Aeronautics were handed over to the Indian Navy. The event was held at the Indian Navy’s Swan Base at Daboli in the presence of Minister of State for Defense Shripad Naik.
The Indian Navy is on high alert for the Corona epidemic. The Indian Naval Air Squadron 323 was launched. It is the first unit in the country to be launched for indigenous state-of-the-art light helicopters. The event was graced by Vice Admiral R.S. Hari Kumar, Goa Flag Officer Rear
Admiral Philip Pynumutil, Rear Admiral S. Vykantraman, Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited R. Madhavan was present. Samik Nandi is the Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Naval Air Squadron 323 MK3.
