Asian Development Bank and Gov of India agreement

The Central Government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). On 19 October 2020. Signed a loan sanction of 17 Crore 70 Lakh dollars for the development of state highways and district highways in Maharashtra.

The project is a total of 450 km of road development with 11 state highways and two major inter-district roads. Signed by Kumar Khare, Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The project will improve the rural-to-urban connectivity of the state and increase employment opportunities in both areas.
