9 States of India selected for upgradation to KISCE

In the year 2020. India’s 9 states selected for up-gradation to Khelo India State Centre of Excellence, KISCE. In this elected States and UTs include Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Puducherry, Tripura and Jammu and Kashmir.

This can be selected for the performances, quality of infrastructure, management and sports culture in the State.
Also government including 14 centres to be upgraded to Khelo India State Centre of Excellence. Total no is 24 KISCEs from 23 States and UTs. Indian Sports Minister is Kiren Rijiju. Thet said, the government is taking the KISCEs will be world-class facilities. This can be helpful to good sports person in India.
