Aim of the celebration of World Tourism day 2020:

Tourism has a different role to play in providing opportunities outside the big city and adding cultural and natural heritage to the world. The United Nations says it is an opportunity to rethink the

future of the tourism sector. Also, it can contribute to sustainable development goals through social, cultural, political, and economic values ​​in the context of COVID-19.

History of the World Tourism Day:

The first time in the world celebrated in the year 1980. Not only Un celebrated Tourism Day. Nations from the Mercosur bloc Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay, with Chile, Jointly hosts this celebration. This co-hosting agreement exemplifies the spirit of international solidarity.
