22 October INS Kavarti joins Indian Navy

INS Kavaratti, the last warship in Project 28 to build four indigenously built anti-submarine warships in the Kamorta class. On the date of 22 October 2020 will enter the Indian Navy. At Visakhapatnam

The event will be hosted by Army Chief General Manoj Narwane. The warship was designed by the Navy’s Naval Design Directorate and built by Garden Rich Shipbuilders and Engineers. All tests of this warship have been completed.

This Kavarti was built using high quality DMR 2 49A steel has arrived. It is one of the most powerful indigenously built anti-submarine warships. The state-of-the-art technology will make it impossible for the enemy to locate this warship.

This warship has the quality to fight even in nuclear, biological and chemical war situations. These include state-of-the-art combat systems, torpedo tube launchers and infra-red signature suppression systems.
